If you don't know what these sessions are, I'll first start by saying they are awesome, period. Ok, ok more info? Well essentially it is an opportunity for you and your new hubby (yay!) to get dressed up after your wedding and do an extra session which is a little more daring. So for instance, you could do an urban session where you sit on fire escapes and hang out in edgy ally ways. You can do a session where you explore your artistic abilities with paints and canvas. Or you could be more daring and get into some water for the unexpected but exceptional portraits (my personal favorite which I took advantage of after my own wedding). You can keep your dress as clean or get it as dirty as you want. Speaking from experience, dry cleaners do an amazing job and your dress will come out spic-and-span! Obviously you wouldn't want to do these types of things on the big day. I mean, there are things to consider like your make-up and hair, keeping the dress clean, time constraints etc. So that's why this is an amazing session to do after you no longer have those worries!
